Rare oval Biedermeier lady’s desk,
Vienna circa 1820/30, attributed to the Danhauser furniture manufacturer. A column support veneered in mahogany and bird’s eye maple, with a turned double stretcher, upholstered footrest, 1 drawer, the top with a three-drawer arched cartonnier. 93 x 129 x 77 cm. Some ageing and wear, with small parts replaced, the surface partly faded at the back and upper area. (MIN)
