Baroque bureau cabinet,
German 18th century. A bureau a trois corps, with a serpentine and angled front in softwood, with a gold painted carved terminal, veneered with walnut in a lozenge pattern, and decorated with marquetry panels in yew and maple. The lower section has three drawers and a central lock in the middle drawer; the writing section has interior drawers and two exterior drawers; the upper section has 11 drawers and a niche door in which the central lock is located. Ca. 202 x 123 x 70 cm.
