A large, hollowed, Nubian anklet made of silver. The outside of the anklet is divided into three parts and decorated with five silver hemispheres, punched and engraved bands, as well as rhombuses and a diagonal band made of gold (or gilded silver). The large polyhedron ends are each chased in two parts and pieced together (soldered). The visible surfaces of the end pieces display punched floral decoration as well as a silver hemisphere and four rhombuses made of gold (or gilded silver). A rare, large piece of jewellery with good, old traces of use and two small dents to the polyhedron ends. Otherwise no damage.
Diameter: 15 cm x 13 cm (on the outside); 7.8 cm x c. 6 cm (on the inside).
