porcelain, the lid with crowned coat-of-arms of Saxony-Poland, flanked by amorettes with flowers, the body with wide and narrow gilt edging, decorated with elaborate sculpted polychrome flowering vines and branches, the facing side with polychrome painted park landscape, a Watteau scene with a cavalier and two ladies making music, the reverse side with large polychrome painted bouquet of flowers, scatter of flowers and flowering branches, the base and plinth with similar decoration, height: 83 cm, Ø 45 cm, handles in the form of art nouveau female heads and reeds, leaves and blossoms slightly chipped, Sächsische Porzellan-Manufaktur, Dresden, underglaze blue mark ca. 1900 (Ru)
