A religious wall hanging with the "Mercy Seat", a depiction of the Trinity appearing on paintings and icons since the 12th century, in which God the Father is seated in a sea of clouds surrounded by Cherubim, with his feet on the globe, the aureole, the cross with the body of Jesus Christ on his knees, and the Holy Spirit emerging from the mouth of God the Father in the form of a dove.
