“The lines of the individual parts reach out into the space, meeting each other and thereby becoming a spatial sculpture, for which its function as a piece of furniture is only a stage of the nexus that has been formed. These useful components, set in a different spatial order, are extended by us according to the space, which forms a new ‘RAUMDEZVOUS’. This piece of furniture is therefore not a silent conformer of convention usage, but rather emerges as a unique coinhabitant.” (Gruppe B. R. A. N. D. in: Wohnen von Sinnen, Cologne 1986).
