of “Maria Theresia” and “Marie Antoinette”, the round lid with sleeping amorettes, wearing an orange and turquoise hairband, one holding a laurel branch in the right hand, light purple drapery, narrow and wide gilt edging, wavy decor and fluting with gilt edging, of octagonal form, the body, movement with gilt bronze frame, black Arabic numerals and hands on a white dial, on the left a medallion with portrait of “Maria Theresia” as a widow, on the right her daughter “Marie Antoinette”, glazed lid, interspersed with fluting heightened with gilt and with light purple bands, decorated with light turquoise acanthus leaves and rosettes, on the left and on the right lion head handles and encompassed by green laurel festoons hanging from gilt buttons, the base of the body with purple fluting, gilt edging, green leaves and light blue floral border, the square tiered plinth with gilt edging, porcelain, height: 35,5 cm, minor restorations, in working condition, Meissen, underglaze blue crossed swords 2nd half 19th cent., model by Michel Victor Acier ca. 1772 (Ru)
