Flemish tapestry
Oudenaarde (Belgium), c. 243 x 184 cm, end of the 17th century, wool silk weaving with a pastoral scene of a rustic couple with cattle in a park/meadow landscape, noteworthy is the realistically drawn billy goat drinking water in the foreground, the carpet is probably completely preserved with later replaced border, some exposed warp threads, otherwise overall in good condition and fine execution, mounted on new linen with hanging rings.
