porcelain, everted cup with wide and fine gilt rims, pierced ledge with gilt rims and gilt bands, to exterior brightly painted floral frieze encompassed by gilt chain borders, white bands, lower body with finely painted matt gilt acanthus leaves, flowers, rosettes and vases of flowers on a burnished gilt ground, beneath which burnished gilt-painted thread décor on a matt-gilt ground, white foot with matt and burnished gilt-painted spear leaves, brightly painted floral bouquets, fine gilt rims and burnished gilt-painted foliate border with white flowers on a matt-gilt band, height 29.5 cm, KPM-Berlin, underglaze blue sceptre mark, red painter’s mark with orb and KPM, model by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, early 20th cent.
