Chronos, the god of time and decay sits on a cloud base holding an oval medallion in his hands on which is depicted a Dutch polychrome-painted winter landscape with skaters and a horse-drawn sleigh with a coachman, to one side a genius, holding a jug and goblet with cover in her hands, to obverse and reverse of base icicles and clouds, beneath which gilt-accented rocailles and reserves, to the obverse polychrome-painted snowy landscape, 2 gentlemen and 1 lady, to the reverse bouquet of flowers, to either side green sculptural vine tendrils, stepped base with fine and wide gilt rim, yellow metal mounts, height 34.5 cm, some restoration, Meissen, underglaze blue sword mark circa 1765, model by J. J. Kändler 1755-1760 (Ru)
