Exquisite marquetry-decorated dressing table,
Circa 1860/70. Made in various hardwoods and softwoods with rosewood and bird’s eye maple veneer, also with marquetry of outstanding quality in various partly dyed fine woods in the form of birds and a landscape scene with two figures resting. The table has turned, fluted and ebonised legs with stretcher, brass mounts, a folding top and later interior mirror. 73.5 x 49.5 x 35.5 cm. In cared-for, cleaned condition with a fine patina. (MIN)
