porcelain, of cylindrical form, the body with gilt interior edge, the exterior with cobalt blue ground, large and fine gold rim, egg-and-dart frieze, wide border with 2 bright and matte gold painted lions with grape pendants, acanthus leaf bush, tendrils and rosettes as well as laurel branches, frieze with small gilt foliate festoons, angular gold-heightened handle with console terminals, saucer with 4 lion images, height 6.5 cm, diameter 13.5 cm, Meissen, underglaze blue crossed swords mark with star, Marcolini period, c. 1790, very rare decoration (Ru)
