Neo-Classical revival writing desk,
Designed and produced by the firm Portois & Fix in Vienna, circa 1900/10. A mahogany-veneered hardwood and softwood desk on pieds patins, with stretcher, ebonised columns with Ionic bronze capitals, 2 drawers, and a restored writing surface with black synthetic leather. On the outer corners are porticos with roof and mirrors. 100 x 94x 62 cm. In restored condition. (DOC)
