Last quarter of the 19th century. A man at arms with coat of arms and fallow deer cast antlers. Made in lindenwood and carved in high relief to a high standard, naturalistically painted, inscribed, dated and signed "IDA UND RICHARD 1885 FIEDLER", H. Brandstetter, Height ca. 72 cm, diameter ca. 90 cm. Some ageing and wear, with some flaking. (MIN/PZ)
