From the series ‘Tokaido gojusan tsugi no uchi’ (53 stations of the Tokaido). a) Title ‘Fuchu, Abekawa’ (The Abe River in Fuchu). Travelers are carried over the river. Signed: Hiroshige ga. Seal: Ichiryusai. Publisher: Takenouchi Magohachi. 1833-1834. Censor mark is missing (trimmed off). b) Title ‘Akasaka, ryosha shofu no zu’ (Akasaka, inn with serving maids). View of an inn where guests are greeted and being served. Signed: Hiroshige ga. Publisher: Takenouchi Magohachi. Censor: kiwame. 1833-1834.
Still good impressions and colours, several thin spots in margins, a) binding holes in right margin, small piece of paper laid down on verso, b) remargined on left and right.
