silver, gilt, of round form, the body chased with scrollwork, masks and half figures, three medallions chased with scenes of Hercules, the hinged lid with baluster finial, thumb rest with engraved house mark, the handle with half figure, the bottom with soldered plate bearing the owner’s engraving "Gr. Bethlen Bela", the bottom also engraved: "G. B. B." (Graf/Count Bela Bethlen), height: 26 cm, weight: 731 g, unidentified maker’s mark, town mark covered by plate, Transylvania, ca. 1600, (Lu)
