A Josef Hoffmann diadem,
Designed on 16 June 1909, executed by the Wiener Werkstätte, gilt silver, mother-of-pearl and cultured pearls, three eyelets at the backside of the diadem are later added, one for a comb and two for a chain in order to use it as a necklace, hallmarked with monogram JH, rose mark and Diana’s head mark, length 12.5 cm, height 5 cm.The preparatory sketch for this diadem is preserved at the Austrian Museum of Applied Art (ÖMAK), Vienna with inventory no. KI 12159-22, and model number G 955. According to the documentation available, only two specimens exist.
