to the centre Venus seated with Cupid on a shell console which becomes a water lily, behind which purple fabric drapery, to the upper left Cupid holds on tight to the drapery, to one side large reed stem, Venus framed to each side by a swan, holding shell-covered porcelain sockets in their beaks, under each swan a polychrome and gilt-painted bouquet of water lilies, coral, shells and small reed stems, surmounted by a pierced, gilt-accented shell diadem, porcelain, polychrome and gilt figural group, height 54 cm, width 31 cm, shell diadem may be unscrewed, partially restored, Meissen, underglaze blue sword mark, 2nd half of the 19th cent., model no. 348, former no. 137, diadem 1960, model no. 348, former no. 102, model by Johann Friedrich Eberlein circa 1742, for Count Brühl (Ru)
