Round Empire centre table,
Italy ca. 1810/15. In mahogany-veneered softwood, with ebonised claw feet, set on a three-sided base with concave shaping, fully carved sphinxes with gold-painted eagle wings, vase ornament and a later stone top with applied porphyry. Height 76 cm. Diameter 109.5 cm. In cared-for condition with traces of restoration. (DOC)
