Nain Tuteshk,
West Persia (Iran), approx. 273 x 158 cm, mid-20th century. Until the mid-20th century the best Nain carpets came to the West from the factories of the southerly village of Tuteshk, the pieces have a cloth-like feel similar to the Isfahans, they are also usually finer and woven from the best wool material, this piece is a particularly good representative of this type, excellent condition without damage or repaired areas, with c. 1 mill. kts/sqm.
