A group of two tables, a settee, and two chairs, designed and manufactured by Boris Broschardt *,
2008, for the decoration of the “Salon der Freiheit” (“Freedom Salon”) at the Kabarett Niedermair in Vienna, stained, cut and steam-bent wood, loose cushions, fabric covering, the table with a double glass top inlaid with coloured glass stones, table: height 67 cm, diameter 76 cm, chair: height 88 cm, diameter 54 cm, height of seat 47 cm, settee: height 138 cm, length 200 cm. This design was commissioned by Nadja Niedermair for the “Salon der Freiheit”, a club above the auditorium of the Kabarett Niedermair, and was exclusively used there. The furnishings comprised altogether six settees, eight tables, and 19 chairs.
Provenance: Kabarett Niedermair, 1080 Vienna, No. 1 Lenaugasse, until 2014.
