Warp: wool with cotton wefts and symmetrical knots; unusual Kurdish runner from the Herki region on the border with Iraq and Anatolia in central Kurdistan with light all-over pattern background and large ‘eagle’s beak’ border, deep, soft pile wool with several areas affected by moth damage, both ends complete and original with fringes added later, heavy grip.
