A large hanging lamp, designed by Norbert Krieger,

This lamp formed part of an interior design by the architect Norbert Krieger in Pilsen. It was used in the dining room, above the dining table. All of the pieces of furniture in this apartment were veneered in Makassar wood and largely firmly installed.
In Pilsen, Norbert Krieger closely cooperated with Adolf Loos, who around 1928/29 furnished and decorated several apartments there for wealthy families of bankers and industrialists. Trained under Loos at the Vienna Construction School in1920–23, Krieger also realised independent projects in Pilsen during the 1930s, emulating the style of Adolf Loos.
