M. Dubsky was the second wife of Count Adolf Dubsky, Countess Maria Gisela Gabriele Mauritia Dubsky, née Palffy-Erdödy, and hence Marie Ebner-Eschenbach’s sister-in-law
Provenance: Count Dubský of Třebomyslice
Probably originally derived from the Hungarian Moravian noble family, which in 1608 was elevated to the rank of Baron. In 1843 Franz Dubsky, Baron of Třebomyslice, was made a Count.
His daughter, born in 1830, married Moritz von Ebner-Eschenbach in 1848 and became well known as a writer under the name Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach.
