This work was produced by Gabriele Hunger (1945 - 2006 St. Peter in der Au/Lower Austria). She specialized in nativity scenes and monastery handicrafts. Next to her production of monastery handicrafts, she passed on her knowledge in the form of publications, lectures and courses as well as restoring monastery handicrafts for ecclesiastical institutions such as, e.g., the Lateran chapel in Rome.
