The mother of the Virgin Mary, St. Anne, has her left arm around the shoulders of the Virgin, showing her an open book, Mary holds it with both hands, whilst walking over sculptural rose stems, curved 5-segmented base with rocailles and shells, porcelain, white, glazed, height 24.5 cm, some restoration, large firing crack to underside of base, Vienna, Imperial Manufactory, impressed shield mark 1744–1749, incised mark X (Ru)
