Fall front desk with hunting motifs,
Made in a modified Empire style at the end of the 19th century. The desk is made in hardwood and softwood, with a moulded cornice resting on columns, lavishly decorated with marquetry of walnut and further fine woods as well as engraved ivory in the form of hunting scenes. The desk has four external drawers, a fall-front writing surface with similar marquetry decoration and various interior drawers. Approx. 153 x 91.5 x 45 cm. Some ageing and wear. (DOC)
