An old trough zither, called 'Inanga', made of brown, hard wood. A typical musical instrument of the tribes of East Tanzania. On the upper end of the handle is a figural torso with angular arms before its chest and abdomen. The head features slicked back hair, which indicates its origin from the tribe of the Kwere.
