Central Persia (Iran), approx. 230 x 160 cm, c. 1930, until the mid-20th century the best Nain carpets came to the West from the factories of the southerly village of Tuteshk, the pieces have a cloth-like feel similar to the Isfahans, they are also usually finer and woven from the best wool material, this piece is a particularly good representative of this type with c. 1.2 mil. kts/sqm! and silk parts in the patterns, excellent condition without damage or repaired areas.
