The “HONG KONG” carpet has remained unique.
“Land Carpet” is a modern area rug inspired by nature and farmed landscapes. It shows the world from straight above, as we usually see it only from the window of an airplane. Based on satellite images, “Land Carpet” captures a fascinating aerial view that can be touched. The stylized fields differ in height and make “Land Carpet” appear like a piece of nature. As each country deals with landscape and farming in a different way, “Land Carpet” comes in various series, each of them representing a different continent or country. Europe is held in warm green and brown colours, the USA comes in very fresh green colours; Africa in a series of earthen tones, and Netherlands as a colorful array of flowerfields.
