Very large vitrine,
Presumably formerly part the fittings of a renowned shop, the “Wiener Handelshaus” circa 1900/10. A mahogany-veneered softwood vitrine with rounded angles and fluting on the edges and angles, with 2 glazed doors, a mirror on the back panel with 3 vertical nickel-plated rails to support glass shelves, 2 doors in the plinth area, and with marble applications on the plinth. Ca. 260 x 157 x 62 cm. One element of the cornice missing, in restored condition. (DOC)
