Pair of figural torcheres,
Neo-Classical revival, Italy, 2nd half of the 19th century. Made presumably in lindenwood, carved in relief and in the round, painted gold and set on three-sided column bases, the figures in the form of women holding cornucopias. H: ca. 175 cm. Some ageing and evidence of repair, the upper terminals missing. (PZ/MIN)
