Splendid early Baroque Swiss pine cabinet,
18th century and later. A demountable pine cabinet with wedge joints, of splayed form, with later painted ebonising. The cabinet has a moulded removable cornice with applied gold-painted carved garlands, also with hanging fruits and the angles are of undulating form, with Corinthian capitals. The cabinet has 2 doors with decorated panels and continuous foliate decoration, the sides also with decorated panels and applied gold-painted applications, and 2 plinth drawers. Ca. 270 x 266 x 75 cm. Various wood parts replaced during a professional restoration. In restored condition. (DOC)
