A pair of latticework baskets bearing the coat-of-arms of Saxony-Poland-Lithuania,
porcelain, oval open-work latticework body with gilt edging, the well with gilt serrated edge, gold and polychrome painted coat-of-arms with floral garlands, the exterior with gilt edging, heightened with pink- and turquoise, polychrome painted forget-me-not-blossoms, the branch handles heightened with gilt and with polychrome sculpted flowering branches, height: 9,5 cm, length 23,5 cm, restorations KPM-Berlin, underglaze blue sceptre mark 1st half 19th cent. The coat-of-arms of the personal union of Saxony-Poland-Lithuania was used as an ensign in the field. One could also add the Order of the Golden Fleece, since August II. was a recipient of the Order. Friedrich August I., Prince-Elector of Saxony, and August II., King of Poland, Grand Duke of Lithuania, Prince Elector of Saxony and his successor, King August III., of Poland, Prince Elector of Saxony and Grand Duke of Lithuania, 1733–1763.
