A Lobmeyr goblet from the 'Triton series',
glass, colourless, sides with wide and fine gold edges, golden meander with white enamel dots, glossy and matte golden acanthus leaf frieze, all-round sea waves with two dolphins as well as couple of tritons hugging, he is holding a shell in his left hand, glazed in pink on white enamel, base of cup with golden egg-and-dart, foliate festoons with white dots merging onto foot, height 16.3 cm, J. & L. Lobmeyr, Vienna, around 1877, following own drawing (Ru)
The series with figures in pink and blue was successfully shown at the Paris World Fair 1878. See Dorotheum catalogue auction 16.10.2008, Lot 1234, and 19.10.2016, lot 927;
