Exquisite cabinet on stand,
Composed of original drawers and parts from the 17th century, presumably assembled in the 19th century, with alterations and replacements. The cabinet is partly veneered, with a black (ebonised) finish, with high quality relief carving and marquetry of engraved ivory and tortoiseshell. The table-like support has 1 drawer; the cabinet has 1 external drawer, 2 doors and tabernacle-shaped fitted interior with 1 central door and 7 drawers. Ca. 133.5 x 76 x 40 cm. In cared-for condition with discreet traces of restoration. (PZ)
