Louis XVI revival style, circa 1830/40. Made partly in mahogany and mahogany veneer, of freestanding form, with turned fluted legs, 4 drawers, one with a locking interior compartment, the back of the desk with sham fittings, 2 pull-out extension leaves, gilt bronze mounts and a brown leather top decorated with gold. Ca. 74.5 x 136 x 74 cm. In professionally restored condition. (MIN)
