A brass chandelier, - Kolekce Reinhold Hofstätter

in the style of Oskar Strnad, first half of the 20th century. One-tiered chandelier, chandelier chain consisting of numerous large rings and hooks. Central shaft with multiple balusters with lattice basket, baluster ends, six lavishly ornamented arms with delicate chains and lamp fixtures. A very similar, albeit two-tiered chandelier, is depicted in a photograph of the interior of a city villa by Josef Frank. Dimensions: total height 160 cm; height of the chandelier 92 cm; diameter c. 95 cm. Signs of age and use.
