Central Persia (Iran), c. 209 x 140 cm, about 1930, Ahmad is regarded as one of the best-known master workshops of Isfahan along with Seirafian, the present medallion carpet in dozar format has orange and yellow as its dominant colours, very beautifully executed is above all the main border with archaic leafy tendrils and disc medallions decorated with floral motifs; excellent condition with deep pile wool.
