Isfahan Seirafian,
Central Persia (Iran), c. 243 x 145 cm, mid-20th century, a very finely knotted hunting carpet from one of the famous Seirafian workshops, manufactured on silk warp, with cork wool and with areas of the pattern filled with silk, this carpet is preserved in superb condition, with silk woven finishes on both sides, the large lower end features a knotted panel with the “logo” of the aforementioned manufactory, bearing the inscription: Carpet Iran Esfehan Sadegh Seyrafiyan.
