Prof. Josef (Sepp) Moosmann was an Austrian artist, poet, and writer. Having successfully completed his apprenticeship as a painter and decorator, he studied at the Vienna Academy of Applied Arts between 1952 and 1957. He taught at the Academy’s master class for textile design from 1967 onwards and later held the position of professor for textile design and crafts between 1975 and 1997.
