Belgium, c. 20 x 14.3 cm (incl. frame: 25 x 19 cm), first third of the 17th century, miniature embroidery with a portrait of the Penitent St Peter, after a work by Jose de Ribera, silk ground – wavy, with chiaroscuro in appliqué technique, pattern in ‘or nué’ embroidery, good condition, slightly faded, glazed with wooden frame.
