walnut, brown-red with polished finish; plaited seat; chair legs in the shape of flower stems, the extension of the rear legs forming an arch, crowned by a carved openwork umbel as backrest; colour gradations in the carvings; the wider frontal frame carved in the shape of two overlapping umbels; traces of use, professionally restored; each chair bearing the signature Gallé in Japanese style on the rear legs; height 95 cm, length 47 cm, depth 43.3 cm, height of seat 44 cm.
