clear glass, of conical form, the body with gilt edging, white and red strings of pearls, decorated with all-round meadow base, the facing side with cavalier and lady with flowers in her right hand, the mid-section with garland of leaves with two white and red flowers, therein a blue cartouche with crossed violin bows, the reverse side with dedication “Auf Bier frisch Wein, eine Musika rein, dazu ein Jungfräulein, wär ja ein Stein, der nit wollt lustig sein, 1639”, finial with red edge, all in enamel paintwork, base with pontil mark, height 14.5 cm, Germany, 1639 (Ru)
