The present painting relates to an engraving by Giuseppe Vasi (1710-1782) representing The Church of Saint Sebastian outside the walls with the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella,
The engraving was part of the volume Delle magnificenze di Roma antica e moderna ..., published in Rome between 1747 and 1761.
