A large Bacchant group with a candelabrum for 7 candles,
porcelain, central Ionic column, with drunken Silenus and Bacchus on a donkey, both with red wine goblets, the stone base with reclining bacchant child with grapes, a companion with grape basket, bacchant child with red wine bottles, bacchant with pan flute and another playing with a goat, the candelabrum arms with green, red, and blue grapes suspended from leafy branches, the column entwined with branches, the stone base encrusted with blossoms and flowers, height: 80 cm, Ø 50 cm, a total of 6 groups, the central column by 5 groups on a wood base with numbers, a few minor restorations;
Meissen, underglaze blue crossed swords 2nd half 19th cent., model A 96, former no. 76, model by Johann Joachim Kändler 1766 (Ru)
