West Turkestan, c. 72 x 122 cm, second half of the 19th century, chuval with 3 x 3 pattern of “charkh falak” secondary motifs and a syrga border, especially striking are the eight complete blossoming trees along the elem, which are rare, the pile with slight signs of wear, upper finish reduced and secured on the back with a border by the company “Jerrehian Bros. Oriental Rug Renovating Co. Philadelphia”.
