Splendid French salon chest of drawers,
Louis XV period circa 1760/65. A serpentine and bombé oak chest of drawers with Chinoiserie landscape decoration on three sides, the front with a fine bronze mount, 2 drawers, and a moulded marble top. Stamped on the front left support N. PETIT and JME (Nicolas Petit, maître from 1765). Ca. 85 x 94.5 x 48.5 cm. In cared-for condition, both side panels with small cracks due to climatic changes.
