Two slightly different salon cabinets or desks,
Attributed to the same workshop on the grounds of the execution and design, end of the 19th century. Made in hardwood with mahogany veneer, richly decorated with figural and floral gilt bronze mounts, with cabriole legs, each with 2 drawers and a fall-front writing surface and 2 interior drawers, decorated with pictorial inlays after the Flemish models (village scenes and allegory of autumn). Ca. 119 x 67 x 37 cm. In cared-for condition with minor traces of ageing and wear, the keys for the drawers are missing, the bronzes rubbed in parts. (MIN)
