The Charites from Greek mythology are the three graceful, merciful daughters of Zeus and Eurynome: Aglaia=Splendor, Euphrosine=Good Cheer, Thalia=Festivity, they were known as the Three Graces in Ancient Rome. The group was formed following a Hellenistic model and is a model example for the classicist depiction of humans.
